Casual Cuff

Lazy day calls for an even lazier outfit. Do you agree? Haha! But kidding aside, I kept it casual and preppy this time to somehow take a break from my usual boots-brogues outfit post. I was also running errands in the morning and picked up a few items at Greyone Social (stay tuned for this one, this is going to be big!) so a pair of comfy boat shoes is definitely the perfect thing to wear. Well I guess you can also say that I’m channelling Daniel Padilla aka Joaquin from Got to Believe because of the shirt + jacket combo. Crazy! Haha.

Here’s a quick style advice: If you’re wearing a low cut shoes, either a pair of sneakers or boat shoes, make it a point to always cuff your jeans or better yet, pair it with printed socks. In that way, no matter how “lazy” you dress up, people will try to focus on what’s striking and unique. A pair of good-fitting jeans will also give you a plus point, because it makes you look clean and sleek instead of the baggy/bootcut type.

Button down from Forever 21; Jacket from Topman. Aside from denims, I believe jackets should also be a wardrobe staple. Why? Because they give you the authority to layer. No more no less. Haha! But seriously, jackets come in handy, so you really have to own at least one. :)
